The place I was inspired to paint was while visiting one of the most beautiful and peaceful lagoon Vouliagmeni, located northwest of Loutraki, Greece. It is actually a salt lake as the water from the ocean enters it through a 2m wide opening to the sea. The whole landscape is pure magic, a glimpse around just takes your breath away.
It was unforgettable sunset over the mountains. The colours of the sky and it’s reflection was incredible.
